Tractor Celebration

The Tractor section at the WESES rally will be holding a Ford and Fordson celebration. This year the Fordson E27N is celebrating its 65th year and the Fordson Super Major is celebrating its 50th year. We are looking for any Ford and Fordsons from the first ones built right up to the latest ones built. Not just Ford & Fordson but any shape and form of tractor. A Triple-Doe is already booked in thanks to Nottinghamshire’s Bernard Saunders, owner of the only known Doe from Somerset. Please contact Peter Knight.

Entertainment

The Army will be having their normal recruiting outfit at the rally, but this year will also have the following; The Royal Armoured Corps Display, Challenger 2 Tank, and transporter, (the tank alone is large at about 32 tonnes); A Scimitar Light Armoured vehicle, which is about 12 tonnes; Plus a Caravan (incorporating a Tank simulator); and there will be a paintball range and Inflatable Obstacle Course as well, for anyone to try.

The UK Parrot Line Bird Rescue will be attending and they will have their birds on display all day.
