Marshall Road Roller (88097) has been undergoing some minor maintenance work along with the fitting of rubber tyres to the wheels.

There are a number of Rollers further afield that have had this sort of tyre fitted, but it is the first roller in Cornwall to have had them. An excellent job has been done, and it’s only on closer inspection that you realise that they are rubber and not steel. There’s no doubt this will be one of the quietest Rollers in the County from now on and we look forward to an update as to what it’s like out on the road.
